Default Using A Server Processor

Would using a server processor like the Opteron in a desktop pc for gaming and home be a smart thing to do, would it work out well?

Short answer yes
Long answer, buying a 165 and overclocking the CCBBE stepping to 3Ghz on air priceless

IMO with server processor they are just more durable and good for 24-7 activity
