| If you're not throwing in a huge graphics card later, you should be okay. The X2 240s actually use less power then what you are using - a test system with the 955 and a 7900GTX pulled about 180W at idle, whereas a system with a X2 240 and a 4850 pulls roughly 80W.

| Using Power Supply calculators they state that farayman3's system will draw 360W at full load, is this just nonsense then? |

| alright carbon so your saying i can just put my power-supply from my older computer with 350 watt, and that should be enough? and can I put it in my acer right now without doing any damage ?(just to check so i won't destroy my new motherboard when i've got it) |

| wait i don't get it now, can i put use my current 250 watt power-supply for the new mobo and processor or not?, and would it be better to put in the older 350 watt or realy buy a new one of 400 watt?, and will this not damage any of my hardware? |

| Yes, the power supply you are using should work fine. If you are really concerned, they are pretty cheap, but unless you are using a graphics card along with this, you should be fine.

| I'm using a radeon HD 4670, but what if i put in that other power-supply from my older computer that got 350 watt will that solve it? because i'm really low budget |

| Wattage is a useless metric. What you have in your current system might be better than a "350 watt" PSU. What I'm saying is that if the system you have runs the new chip draws less power so it is fine.
