Default What RAM to get?

Well I'm getting the XFX 780i motherboard and I am thinking about this RAM, and getting another set when I get a OS that supports it. However after looking at the corsair forums, it seems people have problems with using all 4 RAM bays, they needed to underclock the memory to get it to work. So here are my questions:
  • Does this have to be done to work?
  • If so, how much does the RAM need to be underclocked by?
  • How would I go about doing this?
  • Are there any ways of overcoming this?
  • Are there any 4GB RAM modules available so I can stick to just the two RAM bays?

Thanks

On a side note are you planning on running a 64Bit OS? Because you will need to.

That RAM is 2x2 which will only be using 2 slots!
People have trouble when they are using 4x1's filling all RAM slots
2x2=4 is plenty

Hmm, I might stick with that then, and if for some strange reason I feel I need more, I can alwasy get more, but won't be for a while, so it'll get cheaper and might even get other stuff upgraded by then.

As a general rule 64 isn't worth it unless you're running 6GB or over. But it's your call..

Hmm, well i was going to get this 4GB, then I have my GFX card (another 768MB (I think this is included in the limit)) and possibly got 8GB afterwards to make sure of good performace, because I was thinking 2GB might be too little for Vista, and any more and I need 64 bit.
