Default What RAM should i get?

Hi

Im sure loads of people say this but im not a expert on RAM or the motherboard. I have a Dell Dimension E520 computer with two 512mb ram stick's in it. I want to add at least another 1gb of RAM. I know my computer takes DDR2 but ive read in a couple of places that you cant mix and match speeds or capcity of RAM in some motherboards. If i wanted to upgrade my memory what RAM should i get and do i have to get dual ram??

Thanks

If you add a higher speed the mobo will default to the slower of the speeds.

You're probably better off getting more of what you have already.

It's important to get the correct type of RAM. The ones on the Crucial link above will work ... i.e. 512mb or 1gb will work fine.
Crucial guarantee they are compatible with your PC, so if you have any problem, thet will refund your money.

There's no reason to buy them from Crucial though. They overcharge a lot. Use Crucial to figure out what to buy, use another site to actually buy them.
