| Late this year/early next year for servers. The desktop max will be 6 core for people with too little sense and too much money at around the same time.

| ... 8-12 cores? That's a waste. We've barely got any programs able to use 4 cores, never mind 8 or 12. |

| No, the people that use quadcores effectively always need more (CAD, rendering, etc).
