Firstly check the company of your motherboard and then find out the website of the related company and from there you can easy have the layout picture of your motherboard.

Hi jimafox

I'm not saying all manufactures will be this helpful but my brother was after a detailed plan of an Abit Motherboard so he e mailed them and there response was very good as they sent schematics in a PDF file that had to be downloaded, so it may be worth a try with the manufactures of the Motherboard your interested in
