your sig says you run 64bit, so yes, you'll recognize all 4 gigs
if you had 32 bit you'd only get 3.2 or so, but that'd be an increase, only smaller.
in general. obviously if you get worse RAM, etc results will vary

Possibly. Depends on a variety of things and the sort of games you are playing. Are you having problems at the moment with stability etc?

Technically yes but you will not notice it unless you are using programs that can utilise all the memory. Vista64 can use it all.

I very much doubt it. Boot mainly depends on the hard drive. Get a Raptor if you want fast boots (less than 30 seconds).

I have two 36gb Raptors in RAID0 and my boot time isn't something to be boasting about

I attempted a tri-boot with XP, Vista and Ubuntu, and it failed, miserably.

First the new bootloader Vista had wasn't working, and when it did, the GRUB loader just laughed when I tried that.

Once I get my new build sorted, I'll be ditching the raptors (and are for sale) as they don't really offer a speed increase for my needs compared to a large 500gb hdd. I'll also be attempting the tri-boot again, between XP Pro, Vista Ultimate (32/64) and Ubuntu.

Till then, I have more than enough on my mind
