Crucial thing
>> http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/list...8rev.%201.0%29

This is the RAM i want "G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel":

The thing i have a question on is this:

Memory:
  • Number of Memory Slots : 4×240pin
  • Memory Standard DDR2 : 1066
  • Maximum Memory Supported : 8GB
  • Dual Channel Supported : Yes
Since the Mother board says it takes and not 800 will it still take the RAM?

Sorry for miss types. And for double post, I did not see an edit button :/.

*Edit*
There must be a timer, and I missed it.

Yes. It will take UP to that speed, not just that speed. If you're an overclocker and want to run at a higher FSB without worrying about RAM hitting the wall, you might want to get the higher speed RAM, but if not, go for the 800.

Ya, I'm not going to worry about OCing this computer. I'm only 18, and can't just dish out the money for new parts if i blow one :/.

Thanks for the conformation.

Eh, you can't really "blow" parts OCing. The best analogy is to skydiving. People see it as a huge risk but if you know the basic skills (how to pull a damn cord!) it's less risky than a lot of other stuff. In fact, raising the FSB entails nearly zero risk - it's only when you start messing around with voltages that you risk doing damage, and that's relatively safe as well. I got a free .8ghz just by raising my FSB, taking about 30 minutes total, and giving me a processor that would cost way more had I bought it stock. The only active risk is that you don't boot into windows or it locks while playing a game - and in this case, all you have to do is back down your FSB about 10mhz and try again.

In either case, hope it works out for you. I see this G-Skill RAM in the deals section on the NewEgg newsletter quite a bit, and while I at first dismissed it as budget ram the specs and reviews look convincing. I'm gonna take a look at my newsletter and see if I can't find a promo code for some cash off, cause that's pretty common with this RAM. If I do, I'll edit this post.

EDIT: Nope, there's some 1066 for $75 but no discount on that RAM. Still, it's pretty cheap - go hog wild :)

Wow, I did not realize that about OCing. I always thought that some people blew their parts / mother boards trying to OC their computer by overheating their rig. I still don't think i'm going to try and mess with it, because my dad is willing to buy me parts to build computers every few years, so I'll just take what i can get and learn how OC with someone experienced in it.

And that is still a good deal for the 1066, but I don't think you can beat 2GB for 45, and that G.Skill has lots of good reviews, so I'll take it :D.
