Hi, Would upgrading my computer memory increase the speed of it? I regulary defragment etc.

Absolutely, max your motherboard out. Most cost effective thing you can do.

Yes, RAM is much faster than a hard disk, and it will speed up any OS or computer dramatically.

yeh shop around for prices though coz i got quoted £75 from one guy then another quoted my bout £35 so beware of sharks

Ram is the best upgrade. It will always make your computer faster. Right now I think the standard is 1gb, having 1gb should do you fine..But if you want to be ahead of the game 2gbs wont hurt!

It will definatly increase the speed of your computer. It is the best and easy way to upgrade the PC. But the thing you have to keep in mind that your motherboard should support the RAM. Firstly check the motherboard type wheather it supports your new RAM or not.Otherwise your money will be wasted.

I haven't upgraded mine yet. But I did find that site you mentioned and that was awesome because I had no clue what my computer needed.

but make sure that you dont overupgrade your ram because law of dimnishing margin comes into play and rather decrease your performance. better dont increase beyond 2GB.
