hi all please help, my work computer with all my customers data base keeps restarting, it is a old unit running xp, it got infected with a worm that keeps opening explorer and sending me to spyware software sites, ran a new anti virus i think it was called vg and computer restarted as soon as it logs onto to windows it restarts cant do anything, have entered the bios and might of changed something their trying to get it into safe mode, sorry i should have left alone, anyone any sugestions how i can keep it from restarting long enough to access customer data base to install on a new computer, sorry for the long post and lack of info

You have to keep tapping F8 at startup to get into safe mode.

Just salvage your data as soon as possible anyway in case things get worse,then try to fix the problem,post again tomorrow so people can help with removal.
Download Spybot,Ad-Aware,AVG Free and Hijack this.(all available form download section of forum).
You will need them.

i managed to recover my data today, ran the computer in safe mode, ran avg,adware,spybot and it still is crashing so time to get rid, thanks for the help
