Default Worth Getting Quad Core

Hi everyone,
is it worth me getting Quad Core or Stick with Dual Core, i want a gaming PC that can run Crysis and quite a nice Frame Rate etc. If i should get Quad Core/ Dual Core, which make to get (AMD or INTEL)?

And for frame rates in games you want to put the majority of focus on the gpu anyway.
