Hey all, I'm thinking of starting a new build and I'm pretty confident with the components I've chosen accept this one:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=HD-053-SA
Could anyone shed some light on it, ive heard its overkill and it has issues when re installing os's like xp/vista ???
I'll list the rest of the components once ive finished weighing them up for reassurance from you guys as i tend to over look compatibility.

Make sure you can't get two 500gb drives for the same price. :p

Well, if it's cheaper..also, you have RAID capability, so while the probability of failure is the same, you won't lose all your data if it does.

IMO the Samsung drives are more reliable than Maxtor. Also WD are better than Maxtor ..... in fact DONT get a Maxtor ;)

remember, its not really a TB. they say 1 GB is 1000MB. its not. its 1024. so all those MB they lie about really add up. so convert it first to see how much your REALLY getting.
