I recently bought all new hardware for my comp. A new Motherboard, CPU, HD, Video Card. Everything is working okay, but when I look at my Hard drive in windows it says it is only 128 GB. The hard drive is Hitachi. Is there something I need to do other than formatting the drive to fix this?

If you're running XP SP1 or earlier Windows will only see a max 130 GB.
If not, seems like a partition issue.

Yep it's because early versions of XP did not support large drives >137gb

If you install SP2/3 and then use a Partion Manager program, such as Acronis Disk Director, you should be able to resize it.

The other solution would be to reinstall XP, with a newer XP CD that includes SP2 or SP3 ... this will then recognise and partition the whole drive.
