Default Big Problem

This is my first post, if its in the wrong post, sorry! any help apriciated.

rite i have a fujitsu siemens alimo L7320W

everything was fine, until i didnt shut it down properly and it wanted to check the C: drive, so it checked it, and then it said it was checking some jernal, then it paused and said it couldnt acess it, then the computer shut down, i turned it back on and it said it could not turn on properly, it gave me the usual options- last known config, safe mode, normal...blah blah blah.

whichever i selected i was always brought back to this page, so i decided to restore the oprating system, put in the CD and it worked, eventually it worked my laptop worked!.

then i kept on getting stop errors, lots and lots, everytime i gave it too much to do then a stop error produced itself.

i tried to forget about it but then whenever i turned on my laptop i also got :

SMART Failure predicted oh Hard Disk: 0 Primary Master - CPMD
Warning: Back up data and replace drive. A failure will be imminent.

Press F1 to continue.

i press f1 and it works, jus t like nothing happened. except the stop errors, now when i turn on i get the press f1 warning but once i do nothing- black screen.

if i try to reinstall the OS using de cd, its just a black screen

help!!!!!

Default Big Problem

I would say that your HDD has probably died, S.M.A.R.T([SIZE=-1]Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) is an early warning system that allows you some time to back up your apps before your HDD inevitable death
You will have to replace your harddrive or if you are lucky you may have some type of guarantee with it
