anyone ever removed one of the hard drives in a HP Pavilion Elite m9152p PC? I t seems the right side panel is the only side that comes off. I removed it and could not, find any way to remove the bay which contains both 320gb. drives. It seems like the back side of the bay is screwed to the other side panel which does not come off? There is rivets along the back, and front edge holding that panel in place lol! do they build some pcs this way? or am I missing something? Thanks for any advice!

If the front edge holds the panel in place, it's likely the entire front piece comes off too. I once had this problem with an old CompUSA case that I couldn't get a HDD out of because the side wouldn't come off, then I realized there was a small gap between the front panel and the actual case, yanked that off and then pulled the other side off.

Worth a shot, perhaps.

Well darn it, I guess it's time to break out the hammer and chisel The side panel wraps all the way around the bottom and there is removable drive bays in the front usb, s video, av jacks it's a mess. Yeah, the wife told me I could have the extra 320gb. drive and now I'm about to go the rest, of the way nuts cause I can't get to it.
