Default CD Driver Wont Read Any Cd's (Alot Of Info in thread)

Hello all I will try to provide as much Information as possible

When I insert a CD (Any kind I have tried several) It first of all doesnt Auto-Run which is ok But when I go:"Start > Run > D:\Setup.exe" it wont work either.
And going into my "This Computer" Folder and clicking on the driver it still wont work leaving me with this message "The file or folder is damaged and can not read" (Translated roughly by Google Translate from Danish)

Here is a picture of my System info and Drive and the message I am getting from clicking the drive English translation is provided above.

My Drive is a DvD R/RW DvD Rewriteable Compact Disc Rewriteable Ultra speed - Just written down what's on the front of the driver when I pull it out.

Now I have been looking at a couple of posts after a google search and I have been reinstalling my Driver and looking for updates for it and Etc. I have also when in to "regedit" and removed Upper And LowerFilters and I can still not get my drive to run anything. Please help if you can. Ask me if you need Info I will be glad to provide it if it gets me further to solving this.

This is how my Regedit Looks atm Btw:

Are you able to try the drive in any other computer to check if it works there? This would be the best thing to try, as if that doesn't work, it is something wrong with the drive, which will mean getting a new one (they cost next to nothing for basic ones now) however, if that does work, we'll have to try something else.

You said you tried it with all CD's, but have you tried the drive in another PC?

It sounds like the Registry has become corrupted here.

Have a look here at Method 2, for instructions to manually delete the Registry entries.

If you do not feel confident with this, your other option is to reinstall XP.

This is a known issue with Daemon Tools, so not at all unusual
