hey all,

not sure if this belongs in the laptop or desktop sections so i placed it here

recently my laptp has died due to the motherboard dying and it is not worht repairing it as the laptop isnt that good but i was wondering if their was a way to connect the hdd of the laptop to my desktop so i can get some files, photos etc off it???
i can remove the hdd drive the laptop easily but just not sure if i can connect it

if someone could tell if i can and how and what i need to do it that would be great thank you in advance

you can buy a caddy for it off the net for 5 pound making it a slimline external hdd with a usb cable
