Default Data transfer help...

My mom is upgrading her office computer from an ancient mac to a new dell and Im not sure how to transfer the work data from 1 computer to the other...the mac is really old and has no usb slots and cant burn data onto disks...it has a floppy drive but the files are 60mb so would need like 30 floppy disks...we have a mac 100 mb floppy disk but that doesnt fit into the new comp...any ideas anyone?

What are the files you are copying, are you sure they are compatible with the PC in the first place.

Get a burner for the mac or a USB port card, other than that there aren't many options.

That would be my thoguhts. If the Mac is this old, I doubt the new PC will recognise anything.

eh... good point....i checked and the documents are written on excel 97 (comp obvioustly isnt as old as i thought..its power mac g3)...microsoft word can open them but they're a little messed up (commas instead of spaces and the like)...i think its kind of pointless trying to copy all the files if there not going to work anyway...thanks for the replies
