Default Dell Dimension media card reader advice............

I currently use a SanDisk Ultra II SD 2GB card for my Panasonic FZ8 Lumix Camera.
I prefer to use the Media card reader that is built in to my 2 year old Dell Dimension 5150 rather than connect the camera with a cable........ (no need to worry about battery charge)

I am considering buying a 4GB SD HC Memory Card. I know it will work well with my camera but SD HC is fairly new and it won't work with many SD devices.

Before I buy the new card I need to know that my 2 year old Dell Media Card Reader will be able to recognise & read this type of card?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Kev

Probably best to ask Dell, even if it doesn't a newer stand alone card reader should be fine.
