I have Dell notebook Inspiron 6400/1505 Vista loaded. Suddenly my cd drive (TSSTcorp DVD+-RW TS-L632D) stopped recognizing any CD/DVDs. It blinks for a long time upon inserting CDs. After explore or double click CD ejects. The device lists in device manager. No yellow signal. I am not able to boot from CD.

Please help me in fixing this.

Thanks

Sounds like the drive is on the blink, if it won't boot from the drive it is my guess it is a hardware issue and not a windows problem. You might have to replace the drive
