I'd say any data has been lost, a format will get it going again but any data is gone.

Default Disk In Drive F Is Not Formatted Do You Want To Format It Now?

I don't understand, my friend sent me a video and triple checked that it was actually on the memory stick. So, when i tried to view it (simply putting it in the back of the computer, clicking on the removable f drive and recieving that message) are u saying that just that erased whats on the memory stick? Cause I never tried to format it. I pressed "no" do not format. Thanks 4 yer response...
