PLEASE can anyone help. I have a memory stick with a vidoe on it it when i put it into the back of my computer and go to open it, it gives me the message: the disk in drive f is not formatted do you want to format it now? I don't know what i'm doing wrong as I have opened stuff before on the same memory stick. I am using XP.

I'd say any data has been lost, a format will get it going again but any data is gone.

I don't understand, my friend sent me a video and triple checked that it was actually on the memory stick. So, when i tried to view it (simply putting it in the back of the computer, clicking on the removable f drive and recieving that message) are u saying that just that erased whats on the memory stick? Cause I never tried to format it. I pressed "no" do not format. Thanks 4 yer response...
