As per his first post though, he tried realplayer and got the same result, i realise that isn't what your saying but it does show a problem. Unless he tries a burning program and wants to go the route you're suggesting fella (hence my comment on Nero) we won't know for sure.

I just like things working 100% or they can (and do) usually lead to further issues in p.c's.

I agree completely mate, it isn't right.

But fixing problems across a forum isn't always about getting things perfect, its about making things work.

I just thought that this wasn't actually a big issue if it works, even though not as intended, but as always a job done well is a job done properly. :)
