I recently tried to install linux forgot about it and re partitioned my hard drive note computer hasnt been turned off since them. Today i downloaded hackinstosh (x86 version of macintosh) and was going to install but i noticed by dvd drive wasnt in my computer or device manager i decided to try and reboot but it didnt solve anything... because now its looking for grub to boot but it cant and i cant put in a windows or linux disk to fix the boot problem any ideas?

mabye try upgrading firmware or something mabye it got disconnected
