Default DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW DRIVE and DVD-Rom Help

I'm getting a new computer and when I was looking I saw that most computers come with a 20x DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW DRIVE and a 16x DVD-Rom Is there any reason to get both of them?

Having two drives makes copying discs quicker as you can read and write at the same time.
