Please can someone explain what the above code means in relation to my Dell inspiron 6400 as I cannot connect to the internet.
Basically this laptop is about 2 years old and has never worked. After 2 months I started getting the BSOD screens randomly, done all the usual stuff, contacted Dell, removed everything as advised and crashed the whole system several times and it worked for a few weeks and then more BSOD's. We took out hardware warranty but Dell said it was a software problem but could never pinpoint what that was. Well I crashed it again but coudn't find the disks so done installation online and now I cannot connec to ithe nternet. I keep getting drive not installed/ recognised and yellow ? next to network connections in device manager.

We now all have new laptops so this one is just a spare so I really just wanted to know is it worth the expense and time trying to fix it?? Especially as the warranty is run out.

Many thanks for your help.

Thanks for your quick reply.
I have tried what you suggested and I still get no internet connection. It looks like I have downloaded the driver but I only seem to get as far as the network wizard then I get the no internet connection message. Maybe it is me, as I am not really sure what I am doing. I would be realy grateful for any further help you could offer.

Can I just check ... the message you are getting ... is it : no driver detected or no drive detected ?

Also is the Laptop working ok for everything except Internet access ?

Are there any other yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager ?
