Hello why if you download to your external hard drive does it take space of your local disk drive C and is it possible to create space for local disk drive c by deleting content off the external hard drive ?

ok if i download to my external hard drive space is being taken away from my local disk drive c when only space should be taken off my external hard drive why is it doing that ?

Probably because your internet connection is faster than the USB transfer rate so it has to use your C drive as a cache.
