If i install games on my second hdd not my actual primary one, will it decrease performance?

To be honest m8 no, i always do that and i dont get any probs playing games, even crysis, i did find one problem though with one game DOOM 3, when i tried to install the expansion pack it wouldnt install unless DOOM3 was installed on the c/drive, but at the moment i have on my second drive; crysis, bioshock,orange box,fear,manhunt,stalker and halo and play them without any probs at all

fyi: only when the HDD is hooked up via a slow protocol like USB will it matter.
