| Hello all, I have a new job...teaching English in adult education. Unfortunately, the internet at work doesn't work properly, too many people for too few lines - banana republic Germany .Now I've found a good web site with audio material for listening practice. How can i get these audio files on my stick ? So as to not be reliant on the internet during the lessons. I don't find any "save in" or whatever option by clicking here and there, left and right...of course, by way of computers, I'm not the smartest girl on earth. This is the website: http://www.elllo.org it is even encouraged to download, save and use it as teaching material. Any helpers? |

| Ok, I had a look at the site, basically I think if you select whatever audio track you want as if you were going to listen to it. It should open with quicktime player but within your browser. Click the button on the far right which is an arrow pointing down. Select save, choose to save it onto your desktop (you could save it directly to your USB stick, but I always find it quicker and easier this way) Then check its worked, to save a pain in the neck when you try to open it in front of your class and it doesn't work.. making you the laughing stock :( Next right click it select copy and then open whichever drive your USB Stick is on, right click again and paste. You can repeat this as many times as you need (until your stick is full) with whichever various different tracks you need. Ollie. |
