| internal IDE device? Hard disk works as external USB device but not as an internal IDE device. When I put the drive in my computer and hook it up to an IDE channel I can see the drive and the first level directory but not sub directories.Everything works fine when I place it in an external USB enclosure |

How did you hook it up and is it just a storage media? Hook it either as Primary Slave on IDE 0 (Jumpered as Slave) or Secondary Master on IDE 1 (Jumpered as Master) Your cdrom may be running as Secondary Master so hook it as Secondary Slave. (Jumpered as Slave) My System: #
