 Hard drive died? Stick it in the freezer. No I have not lost the plot, but it has been known to work admittedly perhaps only temporarily.

| Hard drive died? Stick it in the freezer. Lol. Only works for about 2 minutes though. Shame. Could buy broken hard drives, freeze them, and re-sell them :D:D

However, i know that glamorgan uni, buys about 200-300 hard drives off ebay, for the computer forensics course, so they can see if they can retrieve any data on them. My System: Dan's Dell Inspiron 1525

| Hard drive died? Stick it in the freezer. In theory policy's should be in place that won't allow a persons privacy to be accessed, ie the drive/s should be wiped before any recovery work is done on them.
