Default Hard Drive Says Its Near Enough Full But Its Not ?

i've got myself a little problem, i've baught a couple games and i need to install them on to my main hard drive its split into two and the main half with program files etc says its only got 1 gb left.

though this half is 34 gb i checked the (C:) folder and i counted up all the gb's that were in use including the windows folder, i'm using 19.7 gb at the moment so i'm not sure where the rest of it is, the main hard drive itself is around 80 gb and since it was split into two drives the other one has 15 gb spair but i can't use this one.

i'm sorry about the confusing topic title, i know this is the hardware topic and this is something to do with software but its a strange problem so i had troubles finding the right forum for it.

thanks for the help
