Default HDD Slows me down.

I just put a 200gb hard drive in my computer. I am using it as a secondary drive (Slave). Befor I put it in there everything was fine. now the computer boots slower then useual but once its up and running its not slow why is that............................ thinx.

Default HDD Slows me down.

I am assuming this is an IDE (not SATA) setup since you have a slave drive. (or is it a RAID?) The slow-start up could be because you have the drives configured incorrectly, a fresh install of whatever OS you are running may help, but otherwise I would need more info (such as mobo, other hard drive) to help you better.
