Hi!. need some help about my HDD, there are some instances that my HDD cannot be detected by my system. To tweak this problem i have done some measures like reinserting the BUS cable and Power cable and it work for a while. I've look into it that the cause ...

HDD sometimes cannot be detected by the Motherboard
Hi!. need some help about my HDD, there are some instances that my HDD cannot be detected by my system. To tweak this problem i have done some measures like reinserting the BUS cable and Power cable and it work for a while. I've look into it that the cause of the problem is loose wiring or insuficiency in power.
My Unit Specs: Processor- Pentium D 925 3.0Ghz Mainboard- ECS P4M800PRO-M3 Memory- 1.5GB 533Mhz Video- GeForce FX5500 256MB HDD- 250GB Seagate Barracuda PSU 450W Windows XP SP2 Thank you. |

Can you explain the problem a bit more .... i.e. what are the exact symptoms ... any error messages ?

I've seen intermittent hard drives cause by power supply's in the past.

Could also be a duff drive but that tends to be more obvious, they normally make harsh noises. My System: Hybr!d
