built new system with new 250gb hdd
it is only showing 133gb
how do i make so it show full space

If you have installed a version of XP without SP1/2, you have probably hit the 137gb barrier, as original versions of XP did not support HDDs larger than 137gb.

You have a few options open to you :

1. Install SP2 or SP3 and then use a third party program, such as Partition Magic or Acronis Disk Director, to resize the partition.

or

2. Obtain a later version of XP with SP2 or SP3 integrated and do a fresh install of XP
