Okk here's the thing,

I took out 2 160gb hard drives (Samsung) from a tv, i guess it had DVR or something in it idk, and ive been trying to use them on my pc but i cant format or install windows (I've tried 98 & XP) My dad knows some about computers and he says i have to change the format to FAT or NTFS but i dont know how.

Anybody have any ideas on wat i can do? how to change the format to FAT/NTFS or do wat ever to use the hard drives on my computer?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

Try downloading gparted, put it on a CD, boot onto it, and format the drives to NTFS from there.
