| ...of Home Guard Digital Video Capture Camera ? This camera is also sold as MicroEye and VideoGuard; it's a self-contained camera/recorder disguised as an air freshener. The unit I have has 128 MB built-in flash memory. It works OK with plenty of light, but can only record a few hours before the memory is full. Supposedly, you can switch between "full stop" and continuos or "loop" recording (in the first, the camera stops recording when memory is full, in the second it writes over the old footage). The problem is that there doesn't seem to be any way to delete old footage from the flash memory: once the memory is full, you can only select the "loop" recording, which means that you can't use the "full stop" command, and so you're potentially going to record over the footage you want (in my case, which of my roommates is stealing from me). There's nothing in the instruction manual about deleting stuff from the flash memory and I can't find anything on the web (lots of places sell this unit, but no manuf. listed). Any ideas? |

| When the camera is connected to the PC it should show up in 'My Computer'. My Computer is on your desktop and contains access to you hard drives and CD-Rom drives as well as removable media such as your camera.
