| hi, does anybody know how a mac phisically writes to its harddrive? is it similar to how windows does it? or is it more organised (fragmented) like in linux? mike =) |

| http://www.kernelthread.com/mac/osx/arch_fs.html for starters. Note that Windoze also has "forks", potentially infinitely many, obtained by putting a colon in the file name.
