Depends on how large (Long) the movie file is ? The more movie, the more info. So, depending on how long the movies are will determine how many movies are in 1 TB.

By dividing 1,000 (number of gigs in 1 terabyte) by 4.7 (amount of gigs to fill a single-layer DVD, we come up with an answer of 212. This means that 212 DVDs would fill up a terabyte. However, there is a small amount of OS-related housekeeping software on hard drives, so you may only be able to put 200 or so DVDs onto it.You can buy DVD compression software which would permit you to double or even triple the number of movies you could store.

To copy the DVDs exactly like they are on the DVD disk, no quality loss @ all most movies are between 7.4GB-13GB each DVD..So you might get 100-125 DVD at full quality..THanks
