ive installed my mini itx system but i havnt put the power cable to the slim line dvd drive thats because the power sata cable wont fit in the slim line dvd il post the pics what i mean

back of slim line dvd drive with connectors

That looks like two SATA data connectors to me, not power, but maybe it uses some proprietary power thing? Are you sure there's not a complementary molex or something on the drive?
