I have an IDE DVD drive now, tomorrow I will be installing a sata dvd drive. my question is do I just plug into sata #2 socket since hard drive is on #1 and just hook up the power plug? or do I have to configure things in bios? Thanks!

Plug it into the second SATA, power it up and go. Should work after that, no BIOS stuff required.
