Now the only way to do this is buy buying a raptor hard drive or stting up raid.

I don’t know much about raid but I will assume that the RPM speeds of both drives are combined making 7200 into 14400 rpm.

I want to try and setup raid but I don’t know much about what will be needed etc.

I know I will need 2 hard drives of the same make so for example 2 x 120 Maxtor sata hard drive 7200 rpm.

Once there connected what do I have to do from there? Will I need to do anything to the bios and will I need raid software?

If anyone can help me i would be forever grateful.

You will need to look up specific instructions for your PC.
You will possibly need drivers. You may also need to use a floppy drive.Change settings in BIOS.
You will have to do some research.

Hi there, I wish I had time to research how to setup raid but it's not that simple I work to many hours and simply don’t have the time. I was hoping someone would have the blue prints to raid setup or an example of a raid setup and what it consists of.

Im running an ABIT AW9 MAX x975 chipset.
