But all i want to know that is there any way i can copy my important data which i kept saved in that drive... Please help me i hope there will be some way to copy my data. | My 160gb external Maxtor did this a couple of weeks ago. I just put it into another enclosure and it worked fine. So I'm guessing something on the original enclosure blew rather than the drive itself. Not to disagree with Dave, as he may be correct, but going by my situation it's certainly something worth trying.
