Default Mini SD card problem

I have two Mini SD cards that I use in my N73 phone. At first the cards worked but the computer hund on a data transfer, now the computer comes up with the I/O device error message and I can no longer access the cards either with my computer or phone. Anyone out there who has got any idea what the problem is please

You might want to try formatting them. Where did you buy them from? They could be fake.
