Normally, this is a straight forward thing, I know, but heres the problem

In the old PC, the power supply died. Instead of replacing the power supply, since the PC was 5 years old, my friend decided to just buy a new PC.

He called me, and asked if I could help him get his files, I said sure, no problem.

My question is, I can just take the old hard drive out of the old PC, and temporarily hook it up to the new PC just to move the files over, correct? Seems like a pretty straight forward solution, but I would just like to make sure that this will work.

Thanks for any and all help!
