Default Nec 4551a

Hi i have a question about my dvd drive, i have owned this for a little over a year and i have never ever had a issue with is at all.(not that is done much work)
Now for some reason in the last week it has decided not to read DVD's anymore, itll burn dvd,cd,cdr, cdrw, etc and itll read RAM AND CD but any DVD movie, game, data u put in it just spins round with the light flashing but nothing loading.
I have updated my firmware to 1.09 from the NEC website but still the same..
Any help with this would be greatfull.
Thanks in advance.
Nic..

Try going to Device Manager and uninstall the drive.
Then reboot and let Windows reinstall it and see if this helps.
