Hey there, just got a 1TB (although shows up as 932GB roundabouts)

and I'll be using it as a data drive, no partitioning or OS's.

But its all unallocated, how do I change it to free space to allow it to show up in My Computer and me to store files there?

Sorry, never had a new HDD before I know - I can't quite believe it either.

EDIT:
Have I been really stupid here and completey missed the plot, or am I now mad for even suggesting this? Anyway:
Is all I need to do create a partition of the whole thing, and then I can place files there?

ye, you just make a single partition that is 932GB (or whatever your maximum size is)

ive always used this - http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/...-Manager.shtml because its really nice and easy to use.

Ah ok, cheers mate.

I've got Easeus already, so I'll use that instead.

EDIT
Just realised your link was Easeus
