Hi,

I am working on someone's laptop and when it boots, it tells me that there is no bootable device and that I should hit F1 to retry or F2 to go to setup.

I have been able to get the computer to boot by pushing F12 before this message and going to the boot menu. When I select Internal HDD, it boots just fine.

I checked the Bios and the HDD is the first in the boot list, however, it won't boot directly. I have to force it by going to the boot menu. Any ideas why this may be happening. It is very frustrating.

Thanks,
Kathy
