Default Rewriting MBR over Network

Hi,

I recently uninstalled Ubuntu from my laptop by deleting the partition (1 of 3, the others contained Vista and a recovery partition from sony).
However, now that there are no GRUB files, when it boot from disk, it gives me an error.
I was wondering if it is possible to rewrite the MBR of the laptop's harddrive via LAN, i.e. having a server providing the program and executing the program on the Laptop at boot? Hopefully i would be able to rewrite it back to the settings i had for booting to vista before i installed linux.
I have a WIN2K3 server machine with Remote instalation installed if that is any help
Thanks
Richard.

If you have a Vista CD you can boot from it and repair your installation.
