Default sata - the bios does not be installed

Hi all, I hope you can help me, 4 monts ago i installed Win XP (SP2) on my 160 sata drive, everything was fine until a week ago. I got two hard drives - one of them is a sata. i used to change hard drives by unpluging cables to use only one of them at the time. but when i pluged in my sata drive a week ago i got this message "The bios does not be installed. please press "g" .... and nothing's happening. my bios is up to date, i spent many hours on google to find a solution - i got new cables, tried to instal Windows again with raid drivers (F6). i don't know what to do!
but with the other disk (no sata) system works fine!
funny thing is that today i bought new cables, pluged in and everything was fine, system worked fine. i switched it on and restarted - and then i got the same problem. the same message - the bios does not be installed..... i did not touch any cables, just used the mouse to switch it on back. please, can any one help me??
