| Hi all! My old PC had a SATA Hard drive, which I was planning to build into my new PC so as to keep all my files. But I dont have any free SATA slots in my PC, so I got a kit which turns your Internal hard drive into an external one. (Casing, power cables, USB cable, mini cooler) My trouble is, that when I access the device, I get 3 Folders, with the user names I used to have activated on my old PC. The folder important to me, as all my data is saved there cannot be opened. When I double click it, Im told "Folder cannot be opened, please check wether you have sufficient rights". As Im always logged in as Admin I do? What can I do to access that folder, and get to my data??? Hope this all made sense, and is comprehensible, and that someone can help... EDIT: Im not sure wether its SATA or PATA or IDE now.... Last edited by thecrow : 25th Jan 2008 at 03:47 PM. |
